Hi, Lalit Can you post on mysql cluster in which database A replicate itself and update when any query run on database A then it will also update on another database(clone)

      Hi Lalit Mohan,
      Thank you for the ask.

If you are talking about cloning database, that we can do using “MySQL Replication” [identical copy of a database/s on different machine]. And the other side, if you want to do horizontal scaling of your database/s by distributing data on different data nodes(machines) that is ” MySQL Clustering”.
Let me know, which topic you want?

I need to setup Mysql cluster, actually need to update my second database(slave) automatically whenever update in master database i Know it may be done by replication master-slave but i’m not sure it will update slave database automatically. Actually it may or may not be remote database (slave) but I’m Magento developer need to use magento database replication to use in another application API so No effect on magento performance with high traffic .. Guide me to maintain consistency , ACID ,availability Thanks in advance

In this case, you need “MySQL Replication” following could be the replication topology.

    Case 1:
If you want to Split READ load then use MASTER-SLAVE with ACTIVE-PASSIVE Mode.

In this, you can setup and configure replication such way that, All write operations will go on MASTER same will replicate on SLAVE and you can use this SLAVE for read operations for another application API.

    Case 2:
If you want to split WRITE load by writing on both servers then use MASTER-MASTER Replication topology.

It will allow you to write on both database server and data will sync between these DB servers real-time. [ Different Auto-increment sequence for primary keys needed to avoid conflicts and maintain uniqueness of data on both servers]

Replication will give you required benefits as you want for your application like ACID, High Availability, and Read-write load balancing to manage high traffic on the database.

I wrote MySQL High Availability post you can check that, [ It’s quite complicated process if you trying this first time]

Better to have Simple MySQL Replication topology

It up to you how you want to split READ -WRITE Operations.

Will Write Replication Blog in 2-3 days.

Will your application WRITE on both database servers? or you just want another database replica for read operations?

NOTE: Replication replicated data real-time on the slave by default.

        Hi Lalit,

I didn’t get time for blog writing from few days. I will try to write something on it soon.
